2009

I havent written since before Thanksgiving! wow....
So, let's catch you up on what's been going on.
Thanksgiviing + entire peirson family + jojo = awesome
Christmas- so weird not to be in An American Christmas. I had done it for the last 8 years of my life. I visited, but I didn't like it. I actually found myself watching it and thinking.. "wait... what's next? Where am I supposed to be?!"
I babysat my fake little sister, Scotland. I love her so much.
In my completely unbiased, not at all prejudiced opinion, she's the most beautiful little girl in the whole universe.
And smart! She's 3 months and can turn herself over, and I'm convinced she has aspirations of crawling already.
She also has very good taste. The other day she was sitting on my lap and started smiling and making noises, I looked to the TV to see what she was watching and guess what.... Star Wars lightsaber fight. She watched the entire Star Wars technology documentary. And today, she craned her neck while I was feeding her so she could watch Doctor Who. *sniff* I'm so proud!

So yeah.... I had multiple babysitting jobs so I could go back to school and pay for art supplies.
Speaking of school.... I go back tomorrow =/
I'm not too psyched about it. I miss my friends and I'm excited for my classes. But I discovered that I like living in a house. I like not having to get dressed to eat. I can go to the bathroom at night with out walking down a bright hallway and be woken up by the people who decide to have a bathroom chat at 3 in the morning. But hey, it's not for the rest of my life. It might not even be for the rest of my college career. Who knows? I might move into an apartment.
So now I'm at my grandma Peirson's house in Corona. And all my stuff is packed up in the car to lug down the stairs to my dorm room tomorrow afternoon.

On a lighter note.... new nerdy obsession of 2009: Doctor Who.
EVERYONE WATCH IT!
'nuff said.

I didnt make any resolutions this year. I never do really. They're always things like
- learn an instrument
- learn the basics of a new language
- bake a cake from scratch
But i'm totally ADD, and I go to learn an instrument practice the chords for a bit.... and then i get distracted by some shiny object. I may come back to it in a couple weeks when i finally remember, but then I have to learn the chords all over again, and it's such a hassle. And lets face it, you can't make funfetti from scratch.
I'd better go to bed now, mom wants to get to school around 11 or 12 tomorrow. Which is crazy, considering I dont even get out of bed until 1:30.
love - me
